A content manager is often an open source piece of software which bolts on to an existing website that gives various but mostly limited control over the editing of the website's content to the owner with out any prior website design knowledge.

So this means that without prior technical knowledge you can log into your website through a special administration panel and amended details at regular intervals such as prices, introduction texts, blogs, picture content and video.

We usually use Open Source Content Managers, especially for Shopping Cart Websites. Some common types are Joomla and Word press. They come with templates which can be custom modified to almost any shape or form provided you have a reasonably standard format or website.

TRAINING

However we have found that even this requires some training, however basic. We are confident that use of such a system can be easily taught with only one day of training.

We provide this training, usually inclusive of any price of a content manager.

A standard CMS should be as easy to modify as Facebook profile but they can be more complicated especially when a system offers SEO tagging without technical knowledge.
